Blossom Candleholders – Where Nature Meets Nordic Design
Designed by architect Anders Nørgaard, the Blossom Candleholders are a poetic tribute to the subtle beauty of flowers, reimagined in the language of modern Scandinavian design. Inspired by three distinct blooms—the lily, the rose, and the tulip—each candleholder in the series carries its own unique silhouette, echoing the soft curves and upright elegance of its floral muse.
Crafted from solid wood, the Blossom Candleholders unite functionality with sculptural expression. Back in the 50s and 60s, the woodturner made slender candlesticks from the leftovers of more voluminous wood blocks. This practice influenced Anders Nørgaard in his design process, resulting in a soft and modern expression rooted in tradition.
The minimalist design of the Blossom Candleholders is clean and contemporary, yet warm and organic, making them a timeless addition to any space. The collection is available in a wide range of colours, from bold cobalt to soft pastels like warm rose. For those who prefer a more natural look, the holders are also offered in untreated oak, oiled oak, and smoked oak—each enhancing the natural grain and depth of the wood.
